During an interview on Friday, Trump mentioned preparations for an agreement on the extraction of strategic minerals in Ukraine, which could be signed soon.
President Volodymyr Zelensky responded by confirming that negotiations are ongoing but emphasized the need for a fair approach. He also rejected Washington's demands for access to Ukrainian resources valued at $500 billion as compensation for military aid, noting that the U.S. has not yet provided such an amount or offered specific security guarantees.
