North Korea will implement the most "rigorous" strategy to counter the United States.

Last week, just before the New Year, a crucial political meeting of the ruling party of North Korea took place. It was chaired by the leader of the DPRK, Kim Jong Un. This was reported by Reuters, citing KCNA, as conveyed by UNN.

It was noted that during the meeting of party and government officials, a decision was made that North Korea would implement the "most stringent" strategy to counter the United States for the sake of its security and national interests. However, no specifics were provided.

Additionally, KCNA's publication mentioned that the alliance between South Korea, the United States, and Japan has expanded into a "nuclear military bloc," and South Korea has become an "anti-communist stronghold" for the U.S.

During the meeting, the isolated state also pledged to enhance relations with "friendly" countries. Furthermore, Kim called for progress in defense science and technology to strengthen the country's war deterrence capabilities.
