Kievstar was asked why some plans offer services for a month while others provide them for only 4 weeks. Here’s the company's response.

A woman is curious why Kyivstar services are provided for different time periods. Some tariff plans offer services for a month, while others only for 4 weeks. The relevant comment was left by the client on December 11 under the company's publication.

According to the woman, Kyivstar provides services for varying durations. Clients on some plans receive services on a monthly basis, while others only for 4 weeks.

"Hello. Could you please explain why some tariff plans provide services for a month, while others only for 4 weeks?" the woman inquires.

Kyivstar's Response to the Complaint

Kyivstar addressed the woman's questions. They state that customers switching to new tariffs can opt for a prepaid service model, where service packages are provided for 4 weeks, or they can choose a contractual service model.

"Kyivstar customers who connect to new tariffs can select a prepaid service model, where service packages are provided for 4 weeks. Alternatively, they can choose a contractual service model, which includes payment for the service package for a calendar month. The same payment period applies to Kyivstar's 'All Together' tariff offers," said Kyivstar.

Kyivstar Launches VoWiFi

The VoWiFi service is now available to Kyivstar subscribers. Thanks to this technology, subscribers will be able to make calls over Wi-Fi even in areas with weak mobile network signals. This service is useful in situations where mobile network signals are weak or unstable but Wi-Fi coverage is available, such as in semi-basements, buildings with thick walls, and on basement and high floors. Calls made using this technology are charged as regular voice calls. To use VoWiFi:

• The service must be activated for the phone number (if VoLTE is already in use, VoWiFi does not need to be activated separately)
• USiM card
• A smartphone that supports VoWiFi on the Kyivstar network
• The VoWiFi function must be enabled on the smartphone, and the latest software updates must be installed.

The first to experience the benefits of VoWiFi will be users of the "Home Internet" service from Kyivstar who have Apple smartphones supporting iOS 17 and newer (released from 2018 onwards). Later, VoWiFi will also be available to users of other Ukrainian fixed-line providers, and the list of smartphones supporting VoWiFi on the Kyivstar network will continue to expand.
